Album Review: Boston Manor – Be Nothing

B.Norton

Rate: 7/10

For Fans Of: Light Years, Trophy Eyes & Settle Your Scores

Favourite Tracks: Laika, Broken Glass, Lead Feet

Boston Manor’s recently released debut album, ‘Be Nothing.’ is a toast to the new. The album features 10 songs including the single off the album, Laika. This is Boston Manor‘s first studio album following the release of three EPs, the last being released after the band signed to Pure Noise Records. It’s been a long time coming but with their first studio album and multiple tours in their pockets, I’m excited to see where they go next.

One of my favourite things about this album is that you don’t have to listen to the album in order to have all the feels. It’s been out for about one month and I love being able to pick what songs I want to listen to each day. Unlike Knuckle Puck or Rarity’s latest album where you go through almost every emotion from start to finish, every one of Boston Manor’s songs tell a story.

Track List:

  1. Burn You Up
  2. Lead Feet
  3. Laika
  4. Cu
  5. Broken Glass
  6. Kill Your Conscience
  7. Forget Me Not
  8. This Song is Dedicated To Nobody
  9. Stop Trying, Be Nothing
  10. Fossa
